From July 20th to August 16th, the Economic Daily-China Economic Net "Great Rivers Run — A 9-member interview group on the theme of "Reports from the Yangtze River Economic Belt" completed the whole interview and reporting activities in two batches. In 28 days, the interview team traveled to Yunguichuan, and then arrived in Shanghai by boat from Chongqing along the river, facing the intense heat and high temperature all the way. During this period, they also experienced extreme weather such as rainstorm and typhoon many times. The trip involved more than 8,000 kilometers in 11 provinces and cities and more than 220 interview points. This is not only an unforgettable experience of journalists’ career, but also a solemn journey full of sense of mission, responsibility and responsibility.
This is an interview to temper my feet, eyesight, brain power and pen power. The Yangtze River, the mother river that has bred splendid Chinese civilization, is the source, blood and soul of the sustainable development of the Chinese nation. Its ups and downs, its prosperity and progress, endless stories and endless thoughts. Poverty alleviation in mountainous areas, upstream ecological protection, industrial transformation and upgrading, and conversion of old and new kinetic energy … … Along the way, we visited villages, visited farmers, entered enterprises, and visited ports. While walking, we collected materials and distributed them, carried forward the spirit of "going to change", and recorded and witnessed the little changes in the economic and social development of provinces along the Yangtze River by means of live coverage of words, pictures and videos. From the head of the Yangtze River to the tail of the Yangtze River, we have recorded the people and events along the river. Every detail is touching people’s hearts, every story is exciting, and every moment is inspiring. We are delighted to see that it has become the consensus of the people along the Yangtze River to "jointly protect and not develop" and put the restoration of the ecological environment of the Yangtze River in an overwhelming position, and the movement of "ecological priority and green development" has been played in all provinces.
This is an interview to personally participate in the great protection of the Yangtze River. At Shigu Wharf in Lijiang, Yunnan, more than 100 journalists from 10 central media and media from 11 provinces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt jointly planted 100 cedars, adding a touch of green to the Yangtze River. In the interview along the way, every reporter consciously protects the environment of the Yangtze River, brings his own handkerchief and washing utensils, and tries to avoid using napkins … … We feel duty-bound and proud to protect the mother river with practical actions!

From July 20th to August 4th, as a "great river running — — Report from the Yangtze River Economic Belt ",I participated in a half-way interview from Lijiang, Yunnan to Wuhan, Hubei. In just 15 days, the interview was in full swing, and it was a rare experience in my personal career, and it also left me endless aftertaste and thinking.
The Yangtze River is beautiful. Along the way, the Yangtze River not only shows the beauty and magnificence of colorful Yunnan, the beautiful Zhong Ling in colorful Guizhou, the majestic and dangerous Bashan and Shushui rivers, and the vast and rich basins of the two lakes, but also has vivid practices of ecological protection and restoration of the Yangtze River in various provinces and cities along the Yangtze River, such as vigorously promoting returning farmland to forests, developing ecological agriculture, implementing shoreline greening, and carrying out pollution control and ecological compensation. It has become the consensus of the people along the Yangtze River to "jointly protect and not engage in large-scale development" and jointly care for one river and clear water.
The Yangtze River is thick. For thousands of years, the Yangtze River basin has been linked by water, connecting the upstream and downstream, the left and right banks and the main tributaries, forming a large economic and social system. Today, it is still an important link connecting the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st century Maritime Silk Road. By vigorously implementing rural revitalization, promoting industrial gradient transfer, opening up the "golden waterway" of the Yangtze River, breaking the chronic disease of "chemical industry encircling the river" and accelerating the kinetic energy conversion of emerging industries, the movement of "ecological priority and green development" has been played.
The population gathered and the regional GDP created by the Yangtze River Economic Belt account for more than 40% of the country, and the total import and export volume accounts for about 40% of the country. Several colleagues and I started from boarding the ship in Wuhan, "Rivers flow — — Report from the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Unforgettable 15 days, facing the hot summer and high temperature, we also experienced typhoon landing and torrential rain. Going out early and returning late, flying in Dai Yue, almost every day, after issuing the manuscript of the day and doing a good job of coordination, summary and preparation, it is already the early morning of the next day. But I still don’t feel tired, and I am still passionate. A strong sense of mission has provided me with inexhaustible motivation.
This interview is a good exercise of party spirit, which improves one’s political position and has a deeper understanding of the great significance of the development strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. It has become the consensus of the cadres and masses in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Belt that "we should pay great attention to great protection and not to great development". According to their own characteristics, all localities have made their own explorations on "ecological priority and green development" and formed a "chorus".
In the process of close contact with the provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the magnificent Yangtze River and the green mountains and green waters along the way inspired my strong patriotic feelings. Empathy is very important. Only with empathy can we build a community of destiny more consciously and feel more responsible. We sincerely want to protect the clear water of this river from flowing eastward and drum and shout for the Yangtze River.

Growing up by the river, I participated in the "River Running — — The report from the Yangtze River Economic Belt was deeply cordial. In these days’ interviews, I met many people and heard many stories. The deepest feeling is that it is everyone’s responsibility to protect the mother river, because it is everyone’s green mountains and green waters.
In Lijiang, Yunnan, we saw a lush willow forest beside the Jinsha River. The 77-year-old local villager and Zezhou are model willows. He told me that "protecting the ecology means protecting yourself". He recalled that the local people began to plant trees spontaneously 60 years ago. In the ancient legend circulating in Lijiang, man and nature are half-brothers, and they should live in harmony.
In Guizhou, there is a Kurenai Wataru village near Wujiang River, a tributary of the Yangtze River. Zhou Ziting, a village party secretary, told me that it used to be a poor nest, but now it has become a silver nest, which has created a good way for tourism to get rid of poverty. The industrial development has been upgraded from "planting land" to "selling scenery", and good ecological resources have contributed. Here, "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" is not a slogan but a reality.
There are countless such stories. But this is not to say that the Yangtze River has been well protected. In fact, the ecological protection of the Yangtze River has many shortcomings. It’s just that we are glad to see that ecological priority, green development, joint protection and no development are becoming the consensus of the people along the coast. To build a modern economic system, we need to deal with the relationship between breaking old kinetic energy and cultivating new kinetic energy. Yibin, Sichuan, which once relied on liquor and coal as its pillar industries, is accelerating the development of strategic emerging industries such as intelligent terminals and rail transit. There is no small thing to do for the people.
During half a month’s investigation and interview along the Yangtze River, I found more and more: whether it is to build an economic Yangtze River, an ecological Yangtze River or a cultural Yangtze River, its essence is to increase the well-being of the people along the line. As the saying goes, "the interests of the people are no small matter, and every leaf is always concerned."
In Wuhan, the transformation of shanty towns and the improvement of the ecological environment are no trivial matters, and the vivid practice of improving people’s livelihood is responding to people’s yearning for a better life — — Living in Qingheju Community in Qingshan District, enjoying the renovation of new houses in shanty towns with complete facilities and convenient transportation; Ride on the lush East Lake Greenway, enjoy the beautiful lakes and mountains, and breathe fresh air … … The transformation of shanty towns and a good ecological environment have become real well-being of people’s livelihood.
In Yangzhou, the protection and renovation project of "Shuangdong" historic district, such as street lane renovation, infrastructure renovation, residential renovation and street style renovation, has been fully implemented, and more than 100 residential houses have been renovated, more than 230 shops along the street have been repaired and restored, and more than 30 old streets and lanes have been renovated.
Going deep into six provinces and cities (Hubei, Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai and Zhejiang) has made me a friend of many people along the Yangtze River. When I was in college, I drank long river water for 4 years. After arriving in Beijing, I continued to drink the Yangtze River water from the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. The water of the Yangtze River melts into my body and goes deep into my soul.
On August 3rd, I started this report from Wuhan. The beautiful scenery of Wuhan River Beach shows me that the concept of "ecological priority and green development" has taken root along the Yangtze River. Wuhan Yangluo Port Iron-water Intermodal Transport Project connects the upper, middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in series, connecting the world and becoming the epitome of the development of inland ports in the golden waterway of the Yangtze River.
In Nanchang, I saw that the front fuselage, middle fuselage and rear fuselage of domestic large aircraft C919 were produced by Hongdu Commercial Aircraft Company. Jingneng Optoelectronics has become the world leader in LED photoelectric industry. Nanchang, relying on the agglomeration of high-tech industries, is taking off and has a bright future.
It was 1: 00 a.m. when I passed Wuhu by passenger ship at night. The lights of Binjiang Park are flashing, and Zhongjiang Tower has stood silently at the intersection of Qingyi River and Yangtze River for 500 years, witnessing the city becoming brighter and more beautiful. The construction site of Wuhu Shanghehang Yangtze River Bridge is brightly lit. This city will add another Yangtze River Bridge and usher in new development.
"The tiger’s dragon plate is better than the past, and it is turned upside down and generous." In Nanjing, there is a surge of creativity in Jiangbei New District, a national new district, where a group of innovative enterprises gather. On the Jiang Xinzhou across the river from Jiangbei New District, a world-class "Eco-tech City and Low-carbon Wisdom Island" is under construction. Innovation is becoming the key word for the development of Nanjing.
"A leaf is swaying in the Yangtze River, and the white clouds are Su Yang everywhere." In midsummer, we started from the source of the mother river of the Yangtze River and went down the river to interview and investigate.
The interview for nearly a month is a particularly precious experience. Although the journey was tiring, I learned and tried many new ways of communication, which benefited me a lot. On July 31, under the command of the front and rear, I cooperated with journalists and website video reporters to bring a "mobile" report, which was broadcast live on a 1,000-ton passenger ship and a 100-meter elevator crossing the Three Gorges Dam, with more than 1.2 million people watching.
I was shocked by the live broadcast of the Three Gorges Dam. At the same time, the live broadcast experience made me feel that as a new media reporter, I should make more efforts to enrich the reporting forms. Tap the keyboard with one pair of hands to record what you see and hear; It is my duty to focus on finding the most beautiful images with one lens. Camera and mobile phone have become pens in my hand. It is my pursuit to immerse myself in the true feelings and portray the beauty of development and construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt with new media language. In the youth of my life, I am proud to devote myself to my favorite journalism industry, and this unforgettable memory will be engraved in my heart forever.
Looking back on this trip, I saw the mountains and the waters, listening to river of no return and seeing the picturesque scenery. Walking in 11 provinces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt, bending down, sinking down and grounding, trying to tell the stories of ecological Yangtze River, economic Yangtze River, cultural Yangtze River and people’s livelihood Yangtze River, also made me realize that it is everyone’s responsibility to protect the mother river of the Yangtze River. From the gathering of experts in Lijiang, Yunnan, intensive interviews have been conducted all over the travel itinerary every day. This is not only a practical test of whether new media and traditional media products can complement each other and interact with each other, but also a field training for me.
In front of Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station in Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, I asked the responsible comrades of the local water conservancy department, "What is the breakthrough to achieve synergy between the power station construction and the expansion of neighboring ports" and "How to upgrade the power station function and help the downstream agricultural irrigation" … … Although there are still no definite answers to some questions at present, many ideas that lead to exploration are expressed in communication. It is this kind of thinking collision that presents the audience with a magnificent picture of the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and also makes me touch a business ladder of "endless learning" in the report — — To do news, we must not only fight for skills and awareness, but also deepen the various background materials in the reporting field.
To ensure the high-quality completion of the task, the second thing to be tempered is physical fitness. On the first day of the interview in Yunnan, a 20 kg bag was carried on the back, plateau, load, sun exposure, and high-intensity interview … … Let me realize the taste of "gritting my teeth" as my predecessors said; It took me nearly 4 hours to travel to Wushan County, Chongqing, and the Panshan Highway made me understand that physical fitness is also an important guarantee for my business ability. Protect our mother river together.
I got on the boat from Wuhan and went down along the river. Along the way, I deeply felt that all localities were taking practical actions for the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the environmental protection of the Yangtze River basin.
There are two scenes that I remember deeply.
One is the Freshwater Dolphin National Reserve in Tongling, Anhui Province. When interviewing Zhang Bajin, a finless porpoise breeder for 20 years, he said that he knew every finless porpoise he kept like the back of his hand. For decades, he regarded the finless porpoise as his own child, and appeared at the feeding point on time every day for decades without interruption. When he said that with the improvement of the water quality of the Yangtze River, the number of finless porpoises in the nature reserve has increased from the initial 3 to 11, his eyes were filled with tears of joy.
The second is in Songjiang, Shanghai. The G60 Industrial Park, which the local government aims to develop the economy and improve the local environment, has now reached the third stage. With the promotion of governments at all levels, Shanghai, Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, a total of nine cities, will work together for common development and build an economic union in the Yangtze River Delta region.
From these two things, we can see that the concept of building a Yangtze River Economic Belt with "clear water, sky blue, green land and excellent industry" has penetrated into individuals, enterprises and governments at all levels.
