How to achieve "zero infection"? Team leader of medical aid team in Hubei: the team implements "four strictness" management.

CCTV News:On May 4th, the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council held a press conference, and invited the responsible persons of Henan transshipment team, Thunder God Mountain hospital Liaoning medical team, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and Xiangya Hospital of Central South University to answer questions from the media. Qian Zhaoxin, the leader and director of the office of the medical aid team in Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, made a relevant introduction on the prevention and control of hospital sensation of the medical aid team in Hubei.

Qian Zhaoxin said that for infectious diseases, the prevention and control of hospital infection is very important. Working in an isolation ward, the closeness of clinical diagnosis and treatment and the meticulous care of these highly contagious diseases cannot be reduced. In this case, how to keep medical staff from being infected is very important. Because medical staff are not infected, more patients can be cared for.

Qian Zhaoxin introduced that in this regard, experts in hospital infection prevention and control in Wuhan have made great efforts. Take Professor Wu Anhua of Xiangya Hospital of Central South University as an example. As the chairman of the national hospital sense, he arrived in Wuhan on January 20th. After arriving in Wuhan, the experts worked out the guiding technical scheme for the prevention and control of nosocomial infection in Covid-19, which played a very powerful guiding role in the prevention and control of nosocomial infection in hospitals all over the country, especially in Wuhan. At that time, Professor Wu Anhua trained 15,000 members of more than 120 medical teams. During the period when the medical teams arrived in Wuhan, he gave seven consecutive trainings to seven medical teams one day, which lasted for 450 minutes. Therefore, these nosocomial infection experts have made great contributions to the prevention and control of nosocomial infection in Wuhan. After the task in Wuhan was completed, the experts moved to Heilongjiang, where they are still supporting today.

As far as medical teams are concerned, each medical team basically implements scientific zoning and grading protection according to this guiding scheme. The medical team assisting Hubei in Xiangya Hospital of Central South University has implemented the "four strictness" management, with strict regulations, strict training, strict implementation and strict supervision. All team members must pass the strict training before they are allowed to work in the isolation area. At the same time, the medical team has set up a full-time post staff — — PPE special post (personal protective equipment special post), he is responsible for preparing protective materials for all team members, checking the quality of protective materials, guiding the team members to wear in the isolation cabin, and playing a supervisory role. It is strictly stipulated in the medical team that two people must walk in and out of the isolation cabin, remind each other and supervise each other. After the shortage of protective materials was relieved to some extent, the medical team adjusted the duration of each shift in the isolation cabin to 4 hours. Qian Zhaoxin remembers the first day of the ward’s "opening". Because there were many patients coming, the team members stayed in the cabin for nearly 12 hours. When leaving the cabin, goggles, masks and protective clothing were all sweaty, and the players were basically soaked. This will affect the protection effect, which is not conducive to the safety protection of players. Therefore, after the shortage of protective materials has eased slightly, the medical team will adjust the duration of each shift to 4 hours, which can achieve safer protection.

At the same time, in view of the possibility of some accidental exposure in the isolation area, the medical team has also set up an effective emergency response mechanism. From the specific implementation situation, after returning from the Wuhan support mission, the results of two nucleic acid tests and one antibody test of the medical team were all negative, which also proved that the protective measures were accurate, safe and effective.
